Reaching new heights

On Thursday evening Freebroughs DofE silver group reached new heights by walking to the top of Roseberry topping. The students have to map a route for any walk taken and using a compass and grid references be able to identify their location when on any walk. This builds up their stamina and navigation skills.

The group have accomplished various walks, leaving from the academy and heading towards Saltburn in a circular route. But this latest walk leaving from Hutton village to Roseberry topping really did test their skills and stamina. A huge well done to th whole group.
