Message from the Principal
Welcome to Thornaby Academy
Thornaby Academy is a vibrant and caring community. Our aim is to ensure that every child in our Academy is safe, valued, respected and successful. Our growing success is firmly built on the strong foundation of our PRIDE values that instil in our learners qualities such as Presentation, Resilience, Independence, Determination and Excellence. We all know that exam results are important, but we also believe that these are best coupled with the PRIDE values so that our students are equipped with the skills to lead happy and fulfilling lives.
We have the highest expectations of standards of education and behaviour by seeking to provide quality first teaching, targeted support and enrichment opportunities. We also value the strong support we receive from parents and the wider community, knowing that together, we will strive to provide every opportunity for every student to be safe, valued, respected and successful.
If you would like to visit our Academy or learn more about it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Mrs Donna Butcher
Principal
