Venator Visit

13 of our year-10 students took up the opportunity to visit an international company on our
doorstep. They visited Venator a company that makes coloured pigments for paints,
packaging and fibres using Titanium Oxide.
The students met with employees who shared their experiences and pathways to their
current jobs. They met with people from each aspect of STEM to understand how a
company values each of the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and
how all rely on each other to be successful. All students were an absolute credit to the
academy and enjoyed getting a taste for a possible future in STEM.
